Ever and Light

Terms of Use

Last updated June 5, 2026

These terms cover your use of Ever and Light. They are written plainly, and the short version is at the top.

The short version

  • Ever and Light is a tool to help you co-parent. It is not legal advice and does not replace your court order.
  • Use it for adults only, be civil, and keep your sign-in safe.
  • The shared records are informational. We provide the service as-is and do our best, but we cannot guarantee outcomes.

Accepting these terms

By using Ever and Light, you agree to these terms. The service is for adults who have been invited to a family space. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Ever and Light is, and is not

Ever and Light helps two parents organize a shared schedule, communicate calmly, and keep useful information for a child across two homes. It is a tool, not a lawyer, mediator, or court.

Nothing in the app is legal advice. The schedule, holidays, and records are informational and do not replace your custody order, parenting plan, or the advice of your own attorney. If the app and your court order ever disagree, your court order governs.

Your account and security

Keep your sign-in and your two-factor method private, and let us know if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Using the shared space well

A family space is shared with the other parent. Use it respectfully and lawfully. Do not use Ever and Light to harass, threaten, or harm anyone, and do not misuse it to break the law or another person's rights. We may suspend access that is used this way.

About the records

Some actions are written to an append-only log. This is meant to be an honest record of what happened in the app. It is provided for your reference, and we make no promise about how any record will be treated in a legal proceeding.

The service is provided as-is

We work hard to make Ever and Light reliable and safe, but we provide it as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived under the law.

Changes and ending use

We may update the app and these terms over time; meaningful changes will be dated at the top. You can stop using Ever and Light at any time, and we may suspend or end access that violates these terms.
